Low Estrogen Symptoms You Need To Be Aware Of

You may be suffering from low estrogen symptoms and you may not be aware of it. Estrogen is the female hormone secreted by the ovaries and it is responsible for several female sexual characteristics. Estrogen is common in both sexes however, but there are larger quantities in women.

Estrogen helps to develop secondary sexual characteristics in women such as their breasts, a widened pelvis, and an increased amount of body fat in areas such as the buttocks, thighs and hip region.

When a woman’s estrogen level begins to drop, it can lead to a multitude of different hormonal conditions and symptoms. Below are some low estrogen symptoms you need to be aware of. Just be warned that symptoms of low estrogen vary from woman to woman and as a result you may not always be able to know if you have the condition or not.

Feelings of fatigue and extreme tiredness

If you are having serious sleep disturbances

If you are experiencing severe joint pain, headaches and depression

If you have water retention problems

If you are having weight gain problems

 

 

Other low estrogen symptoms

 

If you suffer from low estrogen levels then it can adversely impact your memory and cause your concentration to suffer.  It is going to be difficult for you to not only focus, but your sex drive may also suffer.
Women who suffer from low estrogen will usually develop a resistance towards exercising activities. Some women may also suffer from frequent bladder infections, pain while engaged in intercourse, facial skin burns or tingling, excessive perspiration, feelings of low self-esteem, severe instances of anxiety, and osteoarthritis.

Check to see if your breasts are suffering from a reduction in fullness

Check with your doctor to see if your total cholesterol is too low

See if you suffer from vaginitis or other vaginal infections

Look out for symptoms of back pain

Monitor if you have fatigue symptoms that seem to be increasing

Monitor symptoms of bloating after you finish eating a meal

 

These low estrogen symptoms are easy to spot in some cases, but other times you’ll need to get confirmation from a medical professional. Low estrogen is common in women of older age.
